Description: Ekoyata is a normal young adult son of a rich Nigerian business man. He likes sport utility vehicles, show places and business. But his days of peace are numbered. When American security operatives questioned him in Arizona and sent him away, he comes to his old aunt living in their family house in Baneke to recover. He tries to weave the youths together into one solidarity against the leaders who made him feel fear and shame for the selfishly guarded national pride of the Americas and falls for Gloria, a beautiful black girl, his servant. When the youths showed him the same rejection and wanted to mob him, a powerful rebel, Okojie finds him and wants them to be friends. Ekoyata isn’t very keen about this opportunity to look the inside of militancy and see firsthand what made the rebels radicals. He endures the violation of his innocence by accepting friendship with this rebels’ high commander, is confused by his promise that they could do things, and is dreaming of the life he would one day share with Gloria. Fans of Daggers in a Teacup will enjoy this captivating family saga, historical suspense, and romance.

Description: Stuttering stands out among other competing books on stammer. The work explores various textbooks and eliminates unnecessary details on preliminary assessment, arguments towards the psychological nature of the disorder and practice settings which most of the time are verbose. But it combines all topics on the disorder's assessment, origin and nature in a brief but solid basis. Another area of uniqueness is the books direct focus on practical and functional applications rather than theoretical clinical addresses. That is why it is the most acceptable textbook on speech pathology, stuttering, fluency and audiology courses for both undergraduates and initial year graduate master’s degree programs. With the new features of this edition, Stuttering will continue to be the most popular book for speech therapists, to offer practical advice to parents, to be materials source for clinical presentations and for a personal easy to understand guide to recovery.

Description: Did you know that "A corpse doesn't like to hear that there are no burial clothes"? Words of wisdom in proverbs and riddles are a major part of the African traditional life. They seek to bring out a range of thoughtful advice, understanding, truth, morals and warning in both serious and humorous fashion. They evoke meanings out of daily experiences, show community unity and link to biblical spirituality. The beauty of this collection is the generous latitude towards many possible meanings as no attempt is made to suggest one. Unless otherwise indicated, all the proverbs here are credited to the Ishans, a small minority tribe in Edo. Still, most are known in other tribes and their messages are true of people everywhere. This book will gain audience among families and readers who seek to find the wisdom of words. So discover why" The room of a small child is not enough for a masquerade to dress up." And why "A man needs to hold his organ in his hand in gesture when making advances to a woman who is deaf and dumb."

Siva Okojie was afraid to step outside of Tajudeen hotel when the discussion ended. He watched carefully that there was no one on the street when he got out of the buiding. As he waited for a taxi in the evening twilight, he felt as if somebody was following him. He looked around himself every now and then until he succeeded in flagging down one approaching scrap of a car. Get me out of here, he told himself. ‘Oga, where?’ the driver asked. Siva had no idea. ‘Any hotel that is very cheap, that is not fine at all and where no big man would like to go.’ The driver looked at him. ‘Oya Oga, enter.’ Thirty-five minutes later, the driver stopped in front of a building.
