An Exciting New Release

Title: Our Independence never Sees Freedom
Genre: Fiction
Length: 297 pages

Description: Ekoyata lives in Arizona, a white dominated territory of America, where he does his courier business. When he is four years there, America deports him and Ekoyata comes to Baneke, a Nigerian, African town where his aunt whom he hasn’t seen before lives in an old mud house near the forest. Not too far in the forest is what might be the most interesting and dangerous site, a cemetery. In the dilapidated ancient town, Wilfred Okojie, who just relocated from Lagos is drawn by Ekoyata’s talk with some boys about solidarity. Okojie needs Ekoyata’s friendship to fix some issues with a dangerous society that denies the youths a chance. Ekoyata doesn’t think he needs a friend whose heart he would break or who would break his. Interweaving the lives of Ekoyata and Okojie, Okonoboh shows the manners, against all protests, people try to lean on one another.
